Postponement of the IFTDO Africa Conference 2026

The International Federation of Training and Development Organisations – Africa (IFTDO Africa) wishes to inform all registered delegates, speakers, sponsors, partners, exhibitors, and the general public that the forthcoming IFTDO Africa Conference 2026 has been postponed until further notice.

This difficult decision follows extensive deliberation regarding the evolving regional public health situation. In light of the recent Ebola outbreak and the resulting public health advisories, as well as travel and border control measures implemented in parts of the African region, IFTDO Africa has resolved to prioritize the safety, health, and well-being of our delegates, speakers, partners, and stakeholders from across Africa and around the world.

As an institution committed to leadership, human capital development, and sustainable growth, we believe that taking this proactive measure reflects our responsibility to protect our community while supporting ongoing public health efforts.

A new conference date will be announced following continued observation of the situation and in consultation with the relevant public health authorities and our partners. Once a new date has been confirmed, the conference page (https://www.iftdo.africa/conference) will be reactivated with updated information and registration details.
